This Year's Theme is Balkan
Every year the working group choose some fine music and dance instructors.
Becka Wolfe
Becka Wolfe is originally from the UK and began her traditional music journey learning in the bars of Edinburgh. Although that's where she began she has since strayed to the Balkans, France, the Mediterranean, particularly Greece, Ottoman music and the Arab world.
This year's instructors
Adam Ørvad
Adam Ørvads musical accomplishments span over a wide array of genres, among others Balkan. He has a degree from The Royal Danish Academy of Music and debuted in 2005 with one of the biggest programs ever played on his instrument.
Mihail Dinchev
Mihail Dinchev teaches traditional Bulgarian and Roma cirkeldance and Bulgarian folk music and coreographs modern dance too. He is specialised musically in Bulgarian and Roma folk music and dance and knows the other Balkan styles well.

Accomodation
At FOD, we have different dormitories:
"Quiet feet": Here, it is always quiet, both during the day and at night.
"Noisy feet": In the noisy feet dormitory, it's allowed to continue the party after the dance floor is empty.
Volunteers have their own dormitory.

Working Group
Each year, a new working group is elected at FOD. The working group plans and designs the next year's festival. Consider now if you would like to help organize FOD 2025.
